broken rod loomis

Tried dealing w/loomis directly twice over my broken rod both phone calls got me nothing. they didn't even ask how i broke it. So i went to llbean where i bought the rod 13 yrs ago i had no no no proof of purchase of any kind they gave me a 295.00 gift card on the spot that is what they sold the rod for then .... way to go llbean !!!!
