Wild Life abroad

 Hello,

We have all seen lots of wildlife in our time, but have we really experienced the true essence of nature, and wildlife?

The best way to start to truly experience nature and wildlife is based on the 3 main senses. First is to first go for a long quite walk. No Ipods, mp3 players, and no body else. Focus try to focus on the winds, and the effects of the winds, along with the sounds that the winds create. For excample, as a strong gust of western wind comes near the sound produced by the wind pushing twigs against twigs, leaves against leaves, and the sound of the wind in general. Second look and figure out what you truely see. Is that a random hole in the ground? Or is that a whitetailed rabbits den? Is there the newly born offspring rest withing the hole in the ground. Could it be where a fox tried to dig for food? Or is it where maybe a tree brance had fallen and as it fell victorously toward the ground it left a hole, a hole in the ground? Third touch, as you walk through the woods gently not to disturb anything feel a peice of moss, and or rock. Notice is that moss you are touching soft? Is it rough? Is it wet? Or is it dry? Is that rock you are touching rough? Is it smooth? What does it feel like, does it feel like a soft fluffy kitten or the thorns of a beauitiful rose?

This should help you be able to experience nature better :)

hello,
my name is brian. I was born on march 25th 1995. I have a passion for fishing and hunting and will go out in any type of weather. i love to troll for trout in near by lakes. when fishing for anything other then trout, i love to just calmly cast out the line. My favorite places to fish would be: Great East Lake, duncan lake, and whites pond.

Nice little story. You are right . In this day and age with the hustle of everyday life few people stop and enjoy what nature has to offer. One of my most favorite things to do lay down and watch the stars. Listen to the night. Nothing more relaxing to me going for a hike during the early summer months lay on a big bolder and feel the sun on my face and listen to the wind and the birds and other things that nature has to offer. I can sit and listen to the water for hours. Thanks for posting Brian you are wise beyond your years
