The Nova Scotia season opens tomorrow so I tied up a few of my faves to try in the Annapolis River here in Middleton in the morning

 

 

                       Bow River Bugger, Muddler Minnow, Rocky Lake Muddler

                                             Black Ghost, Mickey Finn

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Its never about the catching Dave I out grew that along time ago...Wink

-8c here this am and I'm waiting for it to warm a bit before I go out cause it ain't about freezing to death either...LOL

Ah Mike, the wisdom that comes with age Big Grin  Freezing here in NH this morning and I got to thinking what a "fun" adventure that would be trolling in the open waters.  Nah. Maybe with a heated cabin in the boat, no way Jose in an open boat Mr. Green

 

Early May, that's when it gets good !

Kieth its red wool...I always add a red wool butt to my Mickeys ...IMO they fish 100x better

Hey Mike why do you feel that is ? Does the red wool act like a hot spot ? Maybe it looks like and egg to the fish .
