Boys this is getting a little rought don't you think???  I for one am with Dave when he states that Lee Wulff used a small light rod on big Atlantic Salmon.  And to add more fuel to the fire, those Steelhead fisherman will tell you that an Atlantic can't stand up to a big steely.  Mind you I am not one of those types but just saying that they are out there.  And maybe Koda is correct, it is good to see someone bust Daves chops now and then.

See Yah
Thanks
Lee

 HUMPH!!!!......Gramps

I guess I am getting a mite touchy in my old age.

I could have said "small rods for women and children" but then I have

a small cane rod hanging on the wall that makes for an interesting

scrap with a wee troutie.once in a while..

Happy Fishing and Tying

"Et too Brute" is what I thought when Lee backed you up, and then threw you under the bus Big Grin

All kidding aside, there is a certain charm in tangling with a big fish on the smaller rods. Not that I do it on purpose, but it seems every time I take out a 2 weight I end up hooking something that really should be on an 8 weight. And if I took an 8 weight I'd catch fish that should be on a 2 weight.  Hmmm, maybeso that's why they make 5 weights Mr. Green

Don't let anybody BS you Buddy, cane rod tips can be strained. That's why the second tip. Hey, it was a live plant once, give it a chance Surprised

Of the Airforce, all I can offer up is I remember the Airforce jets in Nam.  To this day I still ain't figured out how they got that napalm to get out in front of the jet but I'm tellin it square, it did. And when they did the run it was like a dump shoot for rats right after. Nuff said.

Ya know what Buddy, for sportin all the abuse, I believe you deserve a........Quiggly!  Mr. Quiggly

Laughing Out Loud much better. Now I can go to work with smile. Clapping  Seriously though its all fun.  They all know that I wouldn't bring a 4 wt to salmon fish but I wouldn't bring anything over a 8wt either.  As for the the grunt USAF thing . We all need each other we just go about it in different ways .  Love you all.   Thumbup
