Far as I know Bill is still out. I do not have a P foot on that reel, but if I could get my crab crackers on one it would be on as fast as I could get the 4 screws out and back in 
When's the opener in Alton? Pretty sure I'll be heading to one of the local ponds before I mess with the salmon & lakers. Gotta get back in the groove after this Winter stuff

I'd have a hard time describing it better. You nailed it square! I like it the best of all the fly fishing methods because I canwatch everything going on in the pond and still catch fish. About the only thing I can multitask at and win
It's almost here, Trolling Time!
A real old Pflueger 1498 Americasn made fly reel that was a RHW only reel. I stole a clutch from a Jap reel and got it to be a wonderful LHW reel for my 7/8 weight LL Bean Trolling fly rod.
The only lever drag fly reel on the planet. A real honey of a reel. This one belongs to my LL Bean 6/7 trolling rod.
