Well looks like we may get another week or so of Ice fishing the lake we went to on sunday had spots with 14" and other spots as low as 8" of Ice , we fished hard all day sunday with little action . Lake trout lake so only 2 devices we fished one spot for few hours with no luck at all then moved quite a distance to another spot and had a few flags and i jigged one but lost it just as quick . we did land one small laker was great day on the ice

Dave ice is just about on last leg here , we got 8-12" on most places but edgeds going fast getting on the Ice is and adventure at times i fished same lake yesterdayt and there are some monsters lake trout abd rainbows there . they seem to get a 15lb plus laker every year from there .

Thanks Zig talk about a short season . The ice was about a month late here getting started now the lakes are pretty much all open. Hell it's been in the mid to high 70's the last couple day's. They are calling for this to last the next week or so. We already have our first fire. I am thinking this year will go down as the worst fire season on record.  needless to say Monday I will be on the streams working your flies eveybody.
