The largest brook trout ever documented. 29" x 21" estimated 15-17 pounds. Caught by Tim Matheson, owner of Kenanow Lodge, on October 21, 2006  Caught from Barbe Lake in Northern Manitoba, Canada

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Dave

Where did you find the info, any more written about this??  I think I have seen that picture before.  Do you know if they released that fish?

That fish gets my vote for a Mr. Quiggly

I have to wonder how old that fish is as well.

See Yah
Thanks
Lee

This is a stocked lake and is stocked with God's River strain brook trout finger lings. From what I read this strain gets to be very large. One of the guys on FB posted that they saw Brook Trout holding in shallow waters that would push 30 inches, From my understanding the fish was released . Some folks were upset that the person holding the fish had his figures in the gills .
