Good to see you again Mr Carva. Yes this has been a very mild winter . Your weather has mirrored ours in the Dakotas The only difference we have absolutely no snow, I have not been ice fishing this year. The way it looks I doubt I will . I am gearing up for spring right now. Can't wait . Dave V
way to get out there in this strange winter we are having some nice fish congrats
Beaver bog is open up here in Hill and the water is LOW, very low. The foot of snow we're getting at the moment I don't believe will be enough to bring the levels back up. Last year the Needleshop was class IV & class V pretty much all year. Hmmmmm.....
Glad you nailed some!
I've been absolutly slammed at work for the last 3 weeks and I have had very little forum time. I have been able to get out on the weekends and find safe ice. It's been tough in southern NH this winter. If you can call it a winter. The big ponds never took and I haven't caught a bass all winter. I was lucky to have a little pickerel pond near my house that help 13 inches of ice till last weekend. Yesterday I opted to go north with some friends for lakers. We had 36 lines in the water and I was the only one who hooked up with a little guy. Sad to say but ice fishing is over for me this year. No more ice unless I want to drive an hour and a half north. Here's some pics from the last couple weekends.
