Hmmm, the "Took" has bass in it.... reckon in that cold water they'd be sluggish on the take.
Now about them turkeys. You did mark the spot? May is Tommy 3 Toes time to check out 
Koda , i got the yard Birds covered found so many flocks its silly .... Hoping to get my daughter in front Tommy Three fingers this spring (her last youth hunt) man i am getting old LOL....
She is is a good shot and all the yardbirds fear her with her Charles (Thunder Bird Exterminator)Daly in hand .......
Well i took advantage of the weather but the fish didn't seem to get the call i was headed down? have to check into that???
anyways i went out about 2 and fished until 5 got to see some nice things watched as a flock of Turkeys glided over the river to land about 20 yards away from me (was bummbed i didn't have camera out would have made for some great shots). the river was lower then normal , gave it my best shot .. i did get to feel the tug of a stick i hooked on the bottom
maybe one or two bumps but no fish . was great to get next to the open water as opposed to on the water (ice) ... snapped couple pics of the river was great few hours.
