I always get a charge out of watching someone fly cast that has it down pat. Here's a video of some dynamic casting and some even more impressive fish.  They have to be impressive, they're eating mice!

I watched the whole movie during the trout bums road show Lee . Was really cool on the big screen.  I hope they have another show here next year. Thanks for posting it Lee and Koda . Not quite the same on my lap top but will look pretty cool on the 50 inch Sony Dave V

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

 Koda,

I've seen this clip before, really awesome stuff!  I agree, some nice casting on this video.

Lee,

wow, the whole 40 minute video!  I guess I know what I'm doing for the next 40 minutes Smile

Thanks!

It was very reassuring to see the "expert" in the video get caught in the tree as well.  Anyone else notice this.  I'm still watching but a fantastic video all around.  It's great that it's not just a fishing video, but actually goes into a small bit of the science behind the beech mast, and population growth, etc.  Very cool stuff.  Just reaffirms my desire to get to New Zealand before I die!

If we don't get caught in a tree or on the bottom every now and again it's not proper fly fishin Smile

My customers in New Zeland are constantly busting my stones about the trout fishing out there. I get invites to stay with some of them so it comes down to a plane ticket. Hmmmmm., the bucket list!

 Koda,

I'd be willing to risk it and fly in a suitcase if you get the urge to go Smile
