Congrats there young man! On both the new addition, and the flies    Should I start looking for bantam weight fly rods for the youngsters?

They come out of the hangar knowing how to fly cast!  Don't believe it?  Just watch em for a spell.  When the arms start flailing look close.  You'll see the left hand stripping line and the right hand doing the 10 and 2

Once this happens you need to set a bowl of cherrio O's  on the table and let them cast chocolate bugs into the bowl. Any they get in they can eat.  A soft plastic "rod" with some yarn on it makes for safe practice. Why in no time atall they'll be bugging ya to take em to the Salmon River for Kings. You'll have to strap em in for the first few trips

I agree Koda . I figure around the 6 month mark we could make any corrections to form if needed.  We will send a few books on casting for the Mrs to read aloud or we could go high tech and send some CD's on casting technique's she could watch them with the volume turned up. Well, the seed has sprouted and there is no time to dilly dally around. I can sound track the Needle Shop Brook and Mrs T-Bone can go to sleep listening to it in Dolby Surround.

To Hell with the CD's Brother, we'll do our own movies and get the youngster started out right. I actually saw a dude on one of the U Tubes "showing how it's done" while demonstrating a trailing loop!  My blood ran cold and I had to take a belt of corn squeezins just to dull the scene in my mind. Lord!

I always love to watch Joan Wulff in action, that gal does it in style!  Thought I was pretty cocky casting a fly line with a broom handle. Joan casts a line with her bare hands!
