Awoke this morning on the Little Southwest Miramichi...Murray and I hit the water about 8 AM
Murray hooked a salkmon which soon departed with his fly and a couple of feet of leader.
After replacing the piece of leader and fly he proceedeed to hook and land a nice hook-billed grilsae.
I made a few passes through the pool with no results other than a bit of casting practice...
Next on the menu is coffee, bacon and eggs.....Then a rest period and hit the river again this afternoon.
