Well got up bright and early like 3:30 to be in the stand for 5:00 am this morning we sat for about 3 hours and called it a morning . went home and went out back while the wife napped got to see couple of deer was nice . the wife got up and told me she had stuff to do near grandma's so who was i to say no to going over to the river right behind grams house to try for some fall action. i was not expecting much at all and i really didn't catch anything until i got closer to the lake then it happened i got slamed by a bow right under main street bridge was pretty little bow maybe 11" i worked my way down to one of my fav. spots and was pleasnatly surprised to get another hit this time much larger fish and i could instantly see was nice brown which i was actually after Smile got to hand snaped pic no measurment but fat and nice def lake fish Smile moved on down to have the same thing again happen another nice fat brown.... i worked my way down to the lake and had nothing after that ran into a fellow from the other site(darkside ) gave him the fly i caught all 3 fish on and now i am home typing this and gonna eat before i head back out into the woods for about 3 til dark Smile i love this time of year and just so you knpow i think this may be the latest i have fly fished ever Smile was worth it .... i heard the sugar is heating up as well.

 

 

 

these fish were in the 20" range just to give you an idea whats going on right now.......

 

 

This guy was about a foot or so a def holdover from spring stocking Smile

Ziggy I sure hope I get into some nice fish like that this fall.  Have to get out to do that, so I guess I need to go next weekend.

Nice fish Zig. Last daughter married off, now it's time to fish. "Bucket List" small steps to start maybe the Saco in NH or the Swift in MA.
