Hey Lee. First time post. Found your site yesterday and loved the video on Bob Clay. I've recently booked a vacation on the Margaree in Cape Breton, and am investigating all things spey - and Atlantic Salmon. Hope to spend an evening fishing the Grand Lake Stream on the way up and back as well.
I was introduced to flyfishing and tying in jr high school by friends who took me to the Falls Gully Fish and Game club in Gaspe (now Robidoux Lakes - just found them on the internet - a real blast from the past). Been hooked off and on ever since. Back into fly tying for about 5 years, I grew up and still live in the Ct River Valley of Massachusetts. I generally fish the FFO of the Swift River - a stock bow year round fishery - with occasional trips to surrounding streams. Have been to Pulaski NY for salmon and chrome and am starting to explore CT and NY more this year. A trip is in the works to Pittsburg NH for June.
I nymph mostly, but enjoy skimming a caddis across the riffles. Have explored CZ nymphing and like it alot.

Bob welcome. Looking foward to talking fly fishing and tying with you . Hope to see lots of photos and stories from you. Dave V
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Rather be fishing than about anything else.
Till the next time.
