Dang its quiet around here .  Must be gearing up for winter or something. Chopping wood  racking up leaves .. Must be what is.  Well I hope all is well where ever and what ever you folks are doing.  I would hope it would wetting a fly but then there would be post and pictures.  Oh ya I fell off a ladder a few days ago . Cutting a branch about 20 feet up. Nice bruises and scrapes and cuts. Was sore as a mo foe  but I am doing better now. My advise don't climb trees for firewood. Although it will be nice for the winter nights. Are you folks gearing up for that turkey day soon approaching us ? How about tying flies ?  Hockey season is here . I am happy about that.  Soon will be cleaning up the bench and tying up for the fall winter season.  Off this weekend plan on wetting a fly then rush home to see The Rush play some good hockey . Well guess I will head off to bed here in a bit . Just thought I would check in on all you folks . Dave V

You are correct David, very quiet around here.  I think Mike and Bill in Canada are busy with hunting and getting ready for winter.  Looks like more rain tomorrow, not a bad thing, we need it.  I think I may get over to Sebago this sat for a while and see if the Salmon are becoming more active.  Other then that not much happening.  I am back to work after a two week vacation, same sh-- different Day.  Sure will be nice when I can go part time or retire.

Thanks

Lee

Mike

I thought you had died and gone to heaven (or Hell) or something.  Did you fish at all at the end of the season for Atlantic's???

Good to see you back

Thanks

Hey Mike how in the heck are you doing ?  I agree with Lee I thought you were abducted or something. Was searching for your mug on a milk carton..  Hope to see you on site more often.  Must chat one of these days to catch up.  Dave V

I have also been busy, at least that's what I keep telling myself Big Grin   I tried to go fishing but there STILL isn't any water  Cry   Last week I was suppose to go take the EPA's Lead Paint Course to get Certified, but at the last minute I said F IT Thumbdown  For me it's the final nail (no pun intended)  If I stay in business it would cost me $300 for the course (I paid anyway's) $375 for the Government and then $2000 + more a year in insurance. This is on top of my state licenses and business insurance. I figure it would be around $3000 a year before I see a dime. Eek!  Once the home owners catch on to what it's going to add to the costs they will not be happy. I loved being a carpenter. But between this, and all the other problems with my trade (take a guess) there will soon be one less, proud, honest "made in America" carpenter. So as my new business grows, I have decided to faze out my carpentry business. I have dealt with a lousy economy twice before, but enough is enough. Sob StorySob StorySob Story

I almost forgot. I hope everyone is well Thumbup

Everyone well here for now.  Hope your fly tying business is getting into high gear, sometime this winter I will order some flies and give a report (Only if they fish well) as to how they fish.  Some time next spring we need to get together and fishBoot Fishing in New Hampshire, maybe CaddisYawn will join us.

Thanks

Lee
