I have been playing around with different wing materials for the stillborn emerger and I think this one has potential  Shh

I tied it as an Adams, but any color would work, you would just need to also change the wing color to match.

Hook: Mustad 49s #12-16

Tail: Moose

Abdomen: Adams Gray fine dubbin

Rib: Black wire size: BR

Thorax: Gray Hare's Ear

Wing Case: White Calf Tail

Wing: The fuzzy marabou at the very end of a grizzly saddle hackle. I kept it on the stem. Tied it in and then folded it over towards the hook eye.

Nice tie RH let us know how it works. Always looking for new flies, Dave V usually keeps us pretty busy with all the things he finds on the net.

Very nice RH.  I took the liberty to have the photo show in the post, click on it for a bigger version.  Go to HELP to see how to do this.

Thanks

Lee

Nice looking fly RH .  I bet that would be a nice early spring fly.  I wonder how well it would work  on Brookies.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Thumbup

I have a chance to be added to a site that features/promotes tiers. Their main thing is, they want creative tiers, so thats what I have been working on. I'm waiting on a couple of material deliveries right now, so I can have more tying options. This could be "Big" for me. When I had my phone interview last week, I insisted that I will keep at it until they accept me, or they add me only to get me to stop bothering them Big Grin

I'm planning on adding a few experienced fly fishers to my testing team so if anyone know's of any good guy's interested, let me know Big Grin

What do you expect from the testersQuestion, I would like to be included, may get me more fishing time.  Give some specifics so others have a better idea of what you expect.

Thanks

Lee

I was hoping I wrote it in secret code Shh   I was thinking some of the members here would be good candidates Clapping

I feel the more feedback I can get on my new designs, the better I will feel selling them.

Plus it will help me in fine tuning them. Just because a fly works for me on my waters doesn't meen it will work for you, Dave, or Bill etc. The more fish you catch on them the happier I'll be Smile

What I will do is this, For those interested i'll need your mailing addresses. I already have Lee's. When ever I have 6 new patterns I'll mail out some samples and all I ask is that you Read the F**KIN Manual   Just kidding. Big Grin

Just fish them, and tell me how you liked them. Did they hold up? Float right? etc. After you can just email me with your likes and dislikes about each fly. Should you sell any of them on the stream, I get 50% of your take  Oops!!!

Thanks

Stephen
