With the heat and Humidity of the last week wood cutting/splitting/piling has come to a complete halt as have many other activities. Now we've got Hurricane Earl swiping the Maritimes (and many other places). Just heavy rain and some wind here, looks like NB will escape the worst of it. According to news reports NS is getting it alot worse. Anybody heard from Mike lately? We sure needed some rain as it was very dry here and after this weather moves out it's supposed to return to more seasonal temps.
We all needed some rain, things have been real dry and hot. Glad this thing didn't hit land that badly. Fishing should start to pick up after all it's fall.

Yay rain send some my way dry as heck and hot once again. Screw the rain send the snow
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
