Heck the water levels are still way above normal here although they are clearing up. The water is still high but the mud stained water is starting to look a bit more clear. This a good sign looks like in a week or so fishing will be good. Time will tell.  How about the rest of you ? What are your rivers and stream doing ? Any fishing going on ? Currious to see what everybody is doing .Dave V

Hope to see some nice photo's from the two of you. Last night we had another big down pour in a short time,  Pushed the water right over the banks . So now its back to being muddy. I  will have to travel this year in order to get some fishing in.  Just think a couple years ago I was doing a rain dance . Must be just now kicking in.If so we are in big trouble Big Grin

Dave I attached a photo, now I need Lee or you to work your magic so it shows. Some day I'll figure this stuff out or not.

Nice fish caddisfly!!! This doesn't seems to be too far from me, would you like a companion sometimes? I never fished for shad and I think it should be pretty interesting.

Sebastian the next chance I have of going is Tuesday. I hit it around 7am and fish for around 2 hours. My understanding is we are at the tail end of this run. Small clousers and shad flies ( sparsely tied streamers on gold hooks ) you should have a sink tip line and maybe a full sinking if the flow is up. MA license required that far up river. I'll leave you a PM on this site if it's a go on Monday night.

Thanks! I assume you are fishing in Lawrence area, I am approx 1 hr 10 min away. Unfortunatelly my job is M-F 8-5, so evenings or weekends are the best for me. I have a 8wt full sink line and I can make a sink tip, I got some sink line. Are there going to be other runs or that's it for the season?
