Bill it's been a while but Golden Stones, Montana Stones and Putt's Favorite aka Putt's Slut. Putt's is a small streamer (mustad 36620, size 6) tied bullethead (Thunder Creek) style made of wraps of small lead to form the head, grey maribou ( bullethead ) and wraps of red thread behind the head, yellow painted eye with black pupil. Fly was tied by Dick Puttkamer.  

Lee size 18 and 20 pheasant tails your killing me.  No doubt smaller fly's may be the ticket to curing fishless days. I'm more a size 10 - 12 guy and my rule for anything smaller is to keep it really simple.  I've been looking at some midge patterns.  I liked that video on tying the disco midge, tried to find the Tiemco 200R hooks at the local Canadian Tire (only place in town that sells any type of flytying supplies) and they didn't have any Tiemco hooks. I did find some smaller packs of size 12 curved nickle plated hooks on sale for $1.49. So I bought a few packs and they make some really bitching nymph patterns, I'll try to post some pics later in the week. I like the ones with the bead chain eyes and the burnt mono eyes are pretty cool. I've got a pretty good selection of spring and summer atlantic salmon fly's but I want to beef up my fly box with all the smaller fly's, trout and LLS size.  I found my map  from the Pine Tree Store with the suggested fly's on the back and you guys were both on the money with your suggestions now I've just gotta get off my butt and get it done.
