Hello to everyone,

I thought that I would share, today when I went to Van Raymond Outfitters here in Brewer, I met a very interesting individual. His name is Bob Leeman. For those who don't know Mr. Leeman is a freelance writer who has a historic tie to Maine. Well, Mr. Leeman was present at the counter when I was checking out after buying some streamers and sinking fly line for tomorrows adventure. He told me I should buy the book on the counter "Fly Fishing Maine". I opened the book and a much younger Bob was there holding a hefty Salmon he had just pulled from the GLS and he was the author of the book. While I was in the store, before I knew who he was, he was telling stories about meeting Ted Williams upto the GLS. I thought just another older gent telling stories. Well he's got the picture to prove it in this new book. What really propelled me to purchase the book was the fact that 8 of the 14 brook trout and salmon chapters he out lined by streams and rivers, I have fished. I left with a personally signed copy and some great enthusiams for tomorrows trip.

I'll post pics hopefully tomorrow, luck or no luck.

Scott

How cool is that ? I am jealous Scott. Dang like Mr Caddis said Right place Right time. Dave V

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
