Was able to get out for a couple of hours today. Did manage 4 fish on the Little Ossipee River. Got one Brook Trout and three Browns. Took some pictures and will post some soon. Nothing great.

Lee

This is the Stone Dam on the Little Ossipee and the start of the C&R section. Caught the Brook trout here.

This is a nice run on the other side of Rt 11, did not do anything here.

This is a big pool below the one from picture above, but it has changed a lot over the last two years. No Fish.

Little Brown Trout, one of three I caught.

Run with all the Brown Trout, they were rising in this pool and I did get two on a dry fly.

Like Dave V says "Nice pictures Lee."
I was too the Little Southwest on the weekend. Water
was way too high for me. I just do not have the sense
of adventure that I had years ago. Did get to meet Bill
at Ray's cottage on Sat. evening. Had to put any projects
on hold yesterday as I had to see the heart guy again.
He is sending me on another field trip. But nothing serious.
Looks like it is going to be a half decent day here, so I will
be able to putter around and get a few more things done
outside. I only have another couple of weeks to get things
done before the fishing disease really sets in. Big Grin

That disease can take over your life if you are not careful. Be careful and get as much fishing in as you can.

Lee
I am afraid that dreaded "fishing disease" set in a long
time ago. It is even worse if you are a fly-tier. It spreads
all over the house. One would not dare take one's shoes
off here for fear of stepping on a hook. Some of the hair
and feathers I have gathered would put the World Wildlife
outfit into the horrors.(all obtained legally, of course). Things
like Silver Monkey. But I have recently found a substitute for
that. Big Grin
