Hey Stephen I just wanted you to know it snowed here again last night . Dang it I can barely see my flowers poking up though the snow.

My first inclination was to tell you where you could shove those
flowers. My next thought had something to do with mealy bug and blight.
In reality I am just jealous. I won't be fishing until May and likely
won't see any flowers appearing till then either.
Stephen its been a weird winter here in SD . Today is cold as crap and Sat -Sun will be warm . Poor plants out there are confused . Like the Cranes heading north and the Robins looking for worms in the snow.
They are calling for another 2' of snow here Sun, Mon, & Tues....grrrrrrrr....Hope this ends soon. 9 deg C here today 7 yesterday ...just like spring....tonight and tomorrow its going to be -15 .....Mother Nature is a bitch

Dave, the MSW Miramichi will be ice free no later than 01 May. Hard to keep the ice in place with all that current and rising water. Not sure if I'm going to make it or not as there are so many other places to go as well. Oromocto Lake is usually ice free by 01 May however there are some years when it may go as late as 5-6 May. Depends on getting a good wind to drive it ashore. Picked up my new snowblower from 'Toys for Big Boys" in Moncton today. A 6 hp Honda with tracks. It's small but mighty. Cleared out all my paths in the back yard that I've been neglecting since before last storm. It's like a little tank and man can it throw the snow. It may stop when you hit Very hard ice/snow but when you look down the tracks are still turning and it's burying itself. I'm pretty sure that it would be at home exploring the dark side of the moon. Anyway so far I'm impressed with it's performance just not with how long it took to get here. Put money down in Nov and was supposed to be in by early Jan and here we are the last day of Feb. Salesman was very apolegetic and cut me a pretty good deal as well. Perhaps it was that barrage of emails that had something to do with it.

That wet weather that is in the forecast will be hard on camp roofs. I have to convince the wife to shovel off the porch roof
at Mother's old house.
Happy Fishing and Tying
