Good to hear from you. Stephen's site has a slightly different addy I think here it is http://www.atlanticsalmonanglers.com/index.php
Glad you like my site I'm still trying to figure out how I can do things on the blog , didn't know other folks could as well, hahaha...yah can't learn how to tie flies buds cause then I'd lose one of my best customers!!!
You should have a vice set up full time at your place on the LSW. This July when we stop in for a visit I'll teach you how to tie a few simple ones and you'll catch on from there.
Mike

Ya Mike I thought that was Yankee Bud Lite but wanted to hear it come from you. LOL I guess its true people always bring out the good stuff for freinds and family.
Good to see you on site Ray , Will be glad to see your pictures this spring. Wow a 12' - 6 " foot rod , You should be able to cast a mile. What weight rod is it ? Do you ever fly fish for salt water fish ? Do you fish for Steeheads ? Well good to see you on . Dave V
Hi Dave:
12' 6" rod is a spey rod, that is two handed, not overhead. This method enables you to fish with no backcast, great for tight spots, with trees or bushes behind. Can also be done single habded and is great to learn.
I caught quite a few fish using this cast on a pool that was impossible to fish last summer due to high water as you could not cross the river. I could cast from the obstructed side and had good luck while others watched.
This rod used a 6/7 line.
I also have a 14' rod that uses a 8/9/10 spey line.
Go tp speypages.com/ and you can see some examples.

Hi Mike:
Nice web site, tried to post to blog but couldn't figure it out. Will try later.
Just got back to N.S. after two weeks in Florida. Just went to close up house as we will not be going there any more this winter.
Picked up new 12' 6' spey rod and a new multi tip line for it on ebay. Also looking for a camera to get some pics for Dave.
Will have to learn to tie as nothing to do, just waiting for spring fishing on LSWM.
Sorry, forgot we spend a fair bit of time in Halifax watching my grandsons basketball games.
Where is Stephens web site?
