Hi All

Thought I would get a thread going here.

I am at work, just finished a brisk couple of Ping Pong games with co-workers. Work sucks but it pays the bills.

I am presently averaging tying one fly a day. A week ago I saw
the doc and he said he was pleased with the results and did not want to see me for 2 months. The next day from my chest down
I turned into a volcano that erupts every two hours. Been that way ever since. Been thinking of changing my name to something Korean....Maybe like "iam ill". Time to do a wash.
I am running out of underwear. Big Grin
Biggest job here is stoking the fire. Unfortunately, I have to turn
out after supper. A computer tech has offered me two boxes.
Both with faster processors, more ram, and larger hard drives
than what I am presently running. He wants $150 for the pair.
If I get them I will then get rid of a pickup load of old spare parts
that are gathering dust.

Happy Fishing and Tying

Tying flies. To cold to do anything else. All I want is two days of high 30's low 40's I don't think that is asking to much, then I could head for NY and do some steelie fishing.

Sounds like fun Caddis I have a freind heading to Oregon to the Sandy River for some Steelie fishing. Lucky guy.

I just got back from a couple of hours of fly fishing Rapid Creek SD . first time on the water in 2009 . Felt good to hit the water nice day to. I think mid 50's Tommorow will be in the teens so good thing I got out today. Didnt catch anything except a branch or two. I found out they are working on one of the dams close by so water was low and a little stained. That might have some thing to do with the lack of fish. It didnt bother me that I didnt hook up but it would have been nice. Lots of ducks on the water. I saw a few geese sunning themselves along the bank . A few squirrels came down to see what I was up to . They were plenty fat . A nice breeze came along I sat on the bank letting the wind blow against my face while I soaked up a few rays .Very relaxing. Could have stayed there all day . Wife should be home any second . Taking her out for supper tonight. Maybe take in a movie tonight and do some snuggling. Life is good Dave V

Lee, ping pong at work? where do you work? sign me up. I'm teaching a course at work that runs for the next few weeks. This weekend the wife and I are going to a candle light dinner at the mess. My daughter is having a kids party tonight with some of her friends. No flytying done yet, although I did just get that room tidied up and reorganized. How's the wood holding out so far? I had about 5 cords and I think that I've got almost half of it burned already.

Just got my computer back today thank cripes!! I was having withdrawals!!! Just got back from the airport. Dropped the wife off she is flying to Toronto tonight then to Poland with her mom on Sunay. Been tying a few flies for my Miramichi trip this year and a couple of trout flies for April. Slow in the fly department this year so far as I've had only 1 order of 4 dozen. Hope things pick up next month. Weather has been pretty good but temps are up and down leaving alot of slippery roads and sidewalks.
Get better Stephen so we can drink som beer in July!!!

Mike
