Where exactly is the Moose River?

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Ok Now I remember my dad used to take me to Moosehead when I was a young pup. How is Moosehead these days ? Last thing I heard about Moosehead was someone had put white perch in the lake and they were trying to figure out how to get them out.
