I am in north of Quebec a place name Shannon near a splendid river Jacque-Cartier with nice trout.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Hi Mikefly

Bill here from NB, nice to make your acquaintance. Now that you've mentioned the Jacques Cartier River I actually toured the dam / fish ladder there once quite a few years ago. My buddy married a girl from Donna Conna and I went to the wedding. How is the salmon run doing in that river anyway? Seemed to be some nice salmon in the trap when I was there as you can go down a flight of stairs into an underground affair and look into a window where the salmon are in the Ladder/trap.
