Waited all day for the plow to come as I wanted to get the same guy as last time because he did such a good job clearing in front of my sheds which means less shovelling. So I waited all day for him then at 6 PM I called his cell and he said that he'd be there in 15 mins. An hour later he still hadn't showed up so in called back and he said that his truck just broke down and he wouldn't be able to make it. So I had to call another guy who had a brand new truck and plow, the kind of plow that articulates in the center and was it ever a slick rig. But since he's got a big payment on his rig he charges top dollar and I mean top. No prob as there was no way that I could shovel that much snow. Dave as soon as the new Honda Snowblower arrives then I'm with you. Oh wait actually I don't like snowblowing that much even with a new one. It doesn't matter anybody wants as far as winter is concerned we're gonna get what ever mother nature throws at us and I think that we're in for a whopper this year.

PS - On the plus side Lobsters are on for $5.97/lb at Superstore ($3.00/bl at the wharf so I've heard) so we're going over to a friends house tonight for a feed. I deserve it after all the shovelling that I did yesterday, deck sheds etc.
My wife just got in from sweeping the side walk and porch off, I think winters great .

Let it snow let it snow.
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
