Just curious anyone here ever fish around this area? My folks are going to be renting a place in Punta Gorda for the winter. I'm going down with the fam for 5 days at the end of March. I plan to do a lot of research on the area and how to fish the cannals for baby tarpon before I go. We might rent a boat for a couple days and fish the around Gasparilla Island.
