Fished the Connecticut River 9/30 and 10/1 with two of my buddies. Flows were down to 189 cfs and made it easy to wade. Some pics in album.

Hey at least you got out and caught some fish good to hear.

Yeah I've been getting out quite a lot lately. Hit White Pond this afternoon in Ossipee, NH and got one nice bow and my buddy got 3 bows.

Sweet I , I got out today as well . I went out to Rapid Creek got ready to tie on a BWO about a size 20- 22 Mainly because of the hatch that was all around me and the fish were in a frinzey gulping them up. About this time I relized I left my dang reading glasses at home . The ones I use fishing and reading because I am blind without them. I won't tell you the words I used to say how I was feeling at that moment in time.Lets say my blood temp was abot 212 Degrees. Needless to say my fishing trip was cut short . Atleast the trees were pretty and I did get to see a ton of fish starting to hold up in pools. A true sing of a qaulity fall fishing season ahead of me. I am going out to buy a second pair of glass so this never happens again. Dave V

Look into flip focals. They sit up under the lid on a ball cap and drop down when you need them and back up out of the way when not in use. I use them on the real small stuff.

Well good luck post some more pictures. Looks like rain for us here on Sunday and Moday should make for good fishing. I hope to get out Monday.
