Guys,
Hope everyone has been doing well- got out with my 11 year old daughter this morning and fished the Mad River in Farmington (More of a stream actually) caught a small brookie and lost another one both on an attractor pattern. Small hatch going on but nothing seemed interested.
The 11 year old is becoming quite a good fisherman and I expect her skills to surpass Dad's very quickly.
I have noticed that I've gotten to the age that I ask her to tie on my flies for me (need to get some of those flip down magnifying glasses I guess Sad )
She took a lesson from Tom Jutras at Mountain Road and it really stuck with her this year, it's nice to see her laying out a nice little roll cast or hold a tight loop on a cast and just get excited over that.
Worked on teaching her mending of the line, good day on the water. I'll have to post some pics of her casting.

Mr Dave G that is awesome, Good to see the next generation learning the skills of fly fishing. I to have to use the old magnifier to see my dang line and the hook eye. Part of getting old I guess. More like a pain in the butt. Oh well Laughing Out Loud Looking fwd to the pictures . Dave V

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

The easiest way to post a few photo's is to create an album for yourself then you can easily add them to a forum post or set a link to the album in the forum. Let me know if you have a problem.

P.S. Wonderful that you are able to get out with the kids, best time in life is father and the kids doing things together.
