Well I went on my first fishing trip of the year this past weekend. We had been planning it for about 6 weeks. Didn't get to do any fishing Evil Whithin an hour of our arrival at camp the wind picked up to 60 mph and it rained and snowed all weekend. We were located 5 miles up a lake by boat and couldn't even get back to the truck to end the trip early due to the wind and 3' waves on the lake Evil Evil

This is all we could do Eek! :

Should have taken the fly tying gear!! Evil

It is not just the fishing...It is being there that counts...
At least you were able to take advantage of the situation. Big Grin

Mike

What do you mean you did not take the tying gear with you. You should have known that MURPHY's law would be in affect for you on the weekend.

Mike Like Stephen said at least you got out there. Besides you had good company and it looks like some warm beverages. Mr. Green
