I have gone to complete barbless hooks . What about the rest of you ?

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

I pinch down every barb on all my flies. The only way to go.

Hi Dave
I have not yet converted to barbless...With my fishing abilities
I need all the help I can get. I have enough long distance releases
as it is without the added pressure of barbless.
But I must admit that it would make frequent hook extraction from various parts of my anatomy much easier... Embarrased

Stephen

I haven't made the switch yet either. Don't really know why but I like Stephen's reason so I'll borrow it Big Grin Mr. Green

Kind of reminds me when a hook pulled from the mouth of a trout right into my finger burried it self deep . I walked right though a pool where fish were rising everywhere. Which happened to be my fishing partners honey fishing spot. I begged him to pull the hook from my throbing finger. He was nice enough to pull the hook out using the fishing line trick. It worked like a charm but I did lose my fly and ruined his spot. I didn't much care because my finger felt better.
