Access is not a big issue. Pine Tree Store is your best bet to find out info of where to go. You can park around the store and fish the Dam pool and the Hatchery pool. There is a state fish hatchery right there beside the river and the pool that is at the end of the hatchery is very popular and good at times. Pine Tree Store is your best chance to get some sort of map with pool locations and how to get to them. It is a fun river to fish. Looks like the flow is now 300 cfs which is good but I like it a little higher, around 400 to 450 cfs. Should be easy to wade at that level of flow.

I'm praying for good weather on Saturday as there's a Hen party at my sister in laws house and as you can guess Men aren't invited so it's a good chance to get out for the day. So you can just walk from the Pine Tree Store to the Dam pool, good to know as that seems like a good place to start. I wonder how crowded it will be down there on Saturday morning? Not that it really matters as I've fished at Quarryville where you have to stand in line for 45 mins just to enter the rotation. Canalside Cabins has a nice website with some good info as well and it's only $42.00 per night to stay there, very reasonable something that I may consider at a later date, fall fishing maybe. Presently I'm tying up smaller streamers and nymphs, plus I'll probably pick up a few of whatever the "hot Fly" is when I'm there, i always like to have a few sample fly to replicate when I get home. Hopefully I'll catch something but it's hard to have in this neck of the wood as winter just drags on and all rivers are either still frozen or swollen to above fishable levels.
