Do you like to fish bead heads on your nymphs ? Have you ever used Tunsten beads ? If so did you really notice a difference in the way they sink ? Currious.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Dave

I have used bead head nymphs and I do like them, but I can't say that Tuncston sinks any faster then a regular bead. After I started nymph fishing I found that a plain Pheasent Tail was all I needed, it could be brown or green and they work great. Just need to add a little weight on the leader, small split shot.

When I used to live in Nova Scotia I used to tie and fish a nymph that had a muskrat body and a thorax made our of bear underfur and was weighted with bead chain eyes such that it was designed to flip over and land on the bottom point up.

I use them all the time regular beads as well as tungsten. Just about any nymph I have without I also have in bead head.
