Jay and I went to Rapid Creek yesterday to check out the improvement sections on the stream. They local fly fishing club and fish and game along with the forestry department added structure to the streambanks. Let me tell what a world of difference.. we caught nearly 60 trout. I caught a rare beautiful Brookie for this stream. I caught several nice Browns one about 19 inches which gave my 2wt a nice workout .As the temperature hit nearly 90 the action never slowed down. I managed a nice sunburn but it was all worth it. Cooling off today. Going to snow Tuesday. Oh well spring is here.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
