Yes Lee I was using my new camera . The bass I caught came from the lake along with Pike and perch during the flood I believe. I caught a few of them so they must be established. I caught a massive chub but when I was trying to take the picture it slipped from my fingers back into the water before I could get the shot . Dang thing was at least 10 inches long . I hiked in about 2 miles to the damn and when I got there they were seven people fishing the outlet in about five or six more fishing the deep pools along the way . But I know of several spots that people overlook that you have to walk to . I found these brown trout rising in a pool kind of hidden off the stream . I am going to go back when it cools down the water temperature was a little high . I seen a brown trout between 23 to 25 inches long he took my fly and half my tippet . I was using my one piece 2 weight bamboo rod . I got a little concerned when he took my fly but that rod has proven to be very durable I think it could handle a very large fish if played right. After all Lee Wulff caught 20 pound  Atlantic Salmon on a five weight one piece rod . I have to be careful of the tip when landing in the net that's where it's critical . But the rod has plenty of give and I usually feedline to the fish if need be . That Rod. has fast become my favorite . I believe I will try to get out again soon but to mountain waters where they're much cooler I don't like putting stress on fish and warm water . I hope you guys get out soon looking forward to seeing your fishing post Dave V
