I was very fortunate to have met Lee last weekend and become acquainted with this site. He also gave me a great hat. Thank you so much Lee.

My profession had me meeting with Ktbone/Keith about two years ago. As the meeting was winding down Keith brought up his passion for fly fishing. He started showing me photo's and could not say enough about his fishing trips. My history had a lot of fishing but only with worms and lures. I had never been fly fishing and to some extent was a bit overwhelmed with learning how to fly fish. But Keith was very generous with his time and offered to take me out. It took us awhile to set a date but off we went to the Contoocook in Southern NH.

Keith had extra gear and after a half hour or so of instruction I was off. Mostly casting  in and out with the fly all day with only 2 fish. And a whole bunch of snags and lost flies. Trying to tie a clinch knot without magnifying glasses was quite the challenge. All along Keith kept catching them. My back was ruined by the end of the day but I had a mild case of attraction. Enough so to buy my own rod, reel, waders, etc.

We then set up another outing to northern NH and the Wildcat River. Absolutely beautiful. Caught a few more and spent more time fishing then removing snags and tying knots. That was a wonderful thing. By the end of day two I was pretty much hooked. Went to a fishing show in Mass. this past January. So far this year we have been back to the Wildcat, Ellis and Peabody rivers. Awesome beauty and fishing and now I have a better appreciation for where there sitting and more importantly how to land my fly with a little bit of accuracy.

Love this sport and will be doing this for the rest of my life. Thank you for this website and I hope to chat with all of you in time and may even go fishing with you.
