I am back in Maine. Not for a vacation but sitting bedside with my dad at Maine General . Wish it was under better circumstances. This year has been a real bitch. Dave V

Lee unfortunately my dad will never leave the hospital. Doctors have given him weeks to months to live. I have a heavy heart as I had to return to South Dakota knowing that it might be the last time I have seen my dad alive. The hardest goodbye I have ever said.

Dave I know what you are going through, I have lost both my parents but they live a good life.  I also lost an older sister and a elder step son.  They came to early.  Chin up and the world will keep turning.  Good luck Dave.

See Yah
Thanks

Sorry to hear this sad news Dave, I too have had a trying year; lost a sister-in law, father-in-law, and my mother.

It is never easy but it does get easier, I find my time on the water helps tremendously with sorting it all out.
