Dave, I will be fishing vicariously through you! Good luck and let us know how it was.

No fish on the fly today. Although the temperature pushed 70 degrees the hatch was minimal. A small midge hatch and a small may fly were on the surface a few made it off the water. I could have went subsurface but elected to stay with a dry. Something I personally choose to do with bamboo. Although Jay and I didn't catch a fish just being out on the stream proved rewarding. Stress left my body as the sun beamed on my body. The fresh air entered my lungs like medicine. Took a couple pictures of the first green vegetation to sprout from mother earth and one of Jay sitting waiting for a rise. I will post later. Dave V

Don't be jealous John. Remember this when we are in the middle of a serious drought. The warm temperatures and lack of moisture could bring major problems for us this summer.

Lot of snow here!  Came around the corner this morning after raking the back side of the house and there was Rosie sitting on the roof.

Raining a little today.  Not much but the grass got a little moisture.

My fear for you folks in north east is a rapid warming trend . You folks could be in for some serious flooding
