 Dave

Do up a bunch of Elk Hair Caddis, size 14 and 16 and different colors.  Also do up some Red Quills 12 thru 16.  Also nymphs like Pheasant Tail size 16 thru 20.  For the small mountain streams try doing some Royal Wolfs and Humpies.  Also Yellow sallies are a fly that hatches on the small mountain streams, do something that imitates them.

Hope this helps, can't wait until you get here.

Dave check out motels and hotels in the North Conway area for a place to stay, lots of B & B in that area and you may find something that fits your budget.

See Yah
Thanks
Lee

 Dave V.

If you think vacation time will allow you a 3 day Miramichi trip for fishing atlantic salmon please let me know

and  I can send you  the price that a licence will cost you and the options......Having just checked the

\cost of a non-resident 3 day licence is about $60 bucks...The other major expense will be gas to get you up here.

I will supply the flies (rod if required)...I will provide the licensed guide service... I charge a penny a day and will return

the penny at the end of the day.....For accomodations while on the Miramichi I can provide one step ahead of a lean-to.

Grub is optional....I am willing to share my supplies ant stores are not far away.

Basicaly, bring yourself, our wallet and your waders,,,,We wll sort out the rest when you get here.

Now let us hope I am still in an upright position when the time comes.

Lee has fished  the waters that I frequent...Perhaps he can add additional info

Happy Fishing and Tying

Hi Dave, if you want some of my nymphs let me know.  I wished we could go fishing together but I can't promise anything since my baby is due at the begining of July o anything can happen. If you are in the central NH area at any time drop me a line, maybe we can meet.

Some go to church and think about fishing, others go fishing and think about God.

First congrats on the new fly fisher in the bun .  If we don't get to fish then maybe a quick lunch somewhere or a cold beverage .

Dave,

I can't wait to meet you and hit the water together.   I have been having a lot of luck this year with prince nymphs, hairs ears, and nearly deadlies,  all in the 16-20 range.  On the open water the wood duck heron has been bringing them in like crazy as well,  those are in size 10-16 (mostly 12).  Don't worry about tying too much, I can provide what you don't have.

Just let me know the date you will be available and I'll work it into my schedule, I have a few meetings at the begining of July that I cannot reschedule other than that I am good to go.

I really need to load up on them wood duck heron flies.  I have been so busy as of late I am behind in everything. I will contact you as well as Lee to pass the word to all who want to meet up and wet a line. Can't wait .
