Trust me you dont want to make the wife made when she has the rod in her hand.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Hmm should I go or should I stay ? I have been looking at the weather and wondering should I put a rod in the truck and head to the streams or should I stay home and pick on the folks back in Maine

Well I went out this morning braving the winds and belive it or not ( RAIN ). I did catch one little brown which is waitng to be uploaded in my media . Would have placed it here but have no clue how to do that. I missed a few also. The water was low and very clear. Spooked a few because of it. The fish were holding in deep pools. Stacked in there. There was some sadness to report on the stream also. I saw several dead or dying fish in the pools . I believe it to be from the stress of the spawn and maybe do to low water condtions. The fish that were dying were covered in white rotting flesh . A couple of nice brookies had this on them. I have seen this before on rainbows and browns but never on brook trout. At least there is still some healty young fish to report so there shold be some good fishing in the spring.

Dave I added your picture:

I think its the time of year. This was a very young fish about 5 inches long. I know they have darker more yellow fish in there. He wasnt out long just a quick photo back he went

Mike

You were not banned, if you were you would not be on now. Just kidding. It was a plugin to the site that had problems, all fixed now.
