As always, nice job Brother! Time to start thinking about sticking G5's in critters pretty quick Big Grin Heidi told me they were thinking about opening deer with either sex this year for archery. Done! The woods are gonna be bloody this year Mr. Green

It's official, we can smoke either sex on Sept 15th. And I DID get the extra tag when I got the licence this year.  Oh yah! They are gonna pay for their sins this year Mr. Green

Sounds good Koda!  You shoot much at your place?

I need some good shooting days to get some accuracy back.  I switched over to easton carbon platinums and dropped my 76 lbs draw to somewhere around 50-60 I figured.  I should get it checked I guess to make sure I am legal.

Anyways I have not managed to sight it all back in yet.  I can hiot stuff but accuracy has not yet been achieved.  So if anyone has an available back yard to sling some arrows, I'd much appreciate it!

T Bone

The bows today are different animals. We don't need 70 pounds anymore.  My PSE is set at 50 pounds and I'm driving arrows out the back of a block black! With a G5 I don't imagine it will get stuck in a deer, more like in the tree on the opposite side.  They shoot so flat I have one pin out to 30 yards. Inch high at 10 yards, on at 20 yards, inch low at 30 yards. The 2nd pin is on at 40, 3rd pin on at 50.

I believe the draw weight limit is 40 pounds. From what I see of the new bows, that'll do it.

I shoot enough to stay in the groove and don't go for marathons like I used to. The best place to practice though is in a tree. After all, that's where we'll be perched and just waiting for something to wander on by Mr. Green
