Quote by: KodaCurious, were you guys running sinking lines at any time on the Pemi trip?
No I think we were all running floating line. I caught every one of the trout on a weighted nymph, the last one was on a modified peacock bugger with a tungsten bead head. At one point I was thinking about putting on a sink tip to get the fly down faster in the white water, but that thought passed. I do have a nice type III 3wt clear line that I am itching to try out, perhaps next trip.

Damn it Koda don't you go tempting Tbone to durability test these fine pieces of workmanship. Tbone is a big 'ol farmboy from Vermont, he could bust up those nets even if they were made out of tungsten I-beam and strung with consertina wire. If you want to test one give it to Sampson with a trout in it, it would be a farer fight.

WOW Keith! I met the lad a couple a times and I didn't think he was no gorilla. Didn't seem clumsy either. It may have just been a case of fish madness. You know, like temporay insanity. Then again, maybe he had eurethroblastosisfatalasis in his younger years. I jest duno.
If he has that much hoss power maybe he's rippin the lips right out of them trout on the hook set
If only Ziggy had got a movie of that cluster &^%$ , er .....ahhhhh..... incident, we'd all be diein laughin.
Geez don't be offerin Samson anything to wreck. He already tore the mirrors and door handles off my truck.
Please share, where is that Beautiful "Pemi"?
Find the Merrimack and head north my friend! We fished it most often south of Ayer's Island dam in Bristol, NH.
Maybe we'll take ya sometime soon if you are interested.
