I took my buddy out for his first striper trip last night and he wasn't dissapointed.

I like black sluggos at night but they were not doing a thing. When we were launching at the ramp a kind soul gave us a dozen live macks. So we decided to live line a couple of the back off the boat and see what happens. Soon after Chris was hooked up. The he proceeds to tell me he has only 10lb test on his reel. Open up the damn drag I yell at him and let the rod do the work. The fish took off in the current and I thought for sure he was going to break off. It took some finese but after 10 minutes we got the fish in the boat. A 33 inch striper on a 10lb test Not bad! That was the only fish for the night. The place was crowded with 10 boats so that had an impact on the amount of fish.

Very nice Mr Carva . I am having trouble seeing your second post though.  33 inch striper on 10 lb test awesome battle for sure . Thumbup

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
