A beautiful spring  day. I went out for a couple hours today. It was like fishing in a bathtub. The PMD's were coming off the water and the fish were interested in them.  I put on my closest pattern and made one cast . I don't think the fly was on the water for 2 seconds and I had my first 10 inch brown. I released the fish into the water and my fly was dangling about 5 feet from me and I had another brown eagerly take the offering catching me completely off guard.  Like I said it was like I was fishing in a bathtub. One fish after another anywhere from 8 to 12 inch browns. It did slow down a bit so I moved down stream and found another honey hole stretch and things werent much different there. What a great couple of hours. Lee I think it must have been your lucky shirt . I am afraid to wash it now might wash the luck away.

I know Lee . I have been a terrible example for the site. Embarrased    I really need to pack my camera . Sorry Lee .  I wasn't thinking.  I will be going again Monday.  I will be sure to take some photos then. The streams are perfect right now. Clear as can be. We are about a month ahead of normal. Not to mention the temps . The hatches are coming on strong much earlier then normal.  I better take advantage of it before the drought really takes over.

Dave, no cell phone? Be pictures even if not top shelf. Besides, if you slip in the drink and bust something it may come in handy Eek!

I've been itching to get a cheap digital camera that will take decent photos and is shockproof and waterproof.  I just havent been looking too hard.  But honestly I rarely catch anything anyways, so....

Theron alot of the walmarts are getting rid of there cameras espically the older ones, couple years old i see them all the time for like 70$ i will pick one up one of these days(waiting for the waterproof one i like to be cut down its gonna happen soon )  but for now i got my nikon , i am very careful with it on the water , i ve got it down pretty good once i hook a fish i head towards my pack and grab the camera sling it over my neck and stand on shore to snap pics as i bring them to hand ... fishing the brooks i rarley wade so i just have my camera slung and have it handy when i get a fish i like the action shots on the trout and have been trying to get unique photo's not to mention the trout are pretty easy on the eyes Smile

PS i think we had a thread about this subject before , hell dave they even sell waterproof disposable cameras now 10 $ would be a safe way to photograph on the water expirences Smile i have lost too many phones due to fishing Geek 3 i think , good thing for insurance... LOL i put mine in a ziplock bag now Smile
