Hi all,

I go by ossipee on the forums because I live on the Ossipee river in Porter Maine, I am 51 and have been fly fishing since 1990 or so when I moved here. I tend to like the larger rivers and smaller ponds, I know its odd but hey you gotta do what you like. I fish year round with a fly rod for all trout, ll salmon, and yes I love smallies on flies and poppers when it gets hot out, there is just something about the way they exsplode on the end of your rod and the moving water you find them in. I get a ME and NH fishing liscense  every year and enjoy both states. I duck hunt as well.

This year I plan to buy a spey or switch rod and learn spey casting, and build my third bamboo rod probubly a payne 98, but maybee a dickerson 7613.

In the past I have worked as a Comercial fisherman out of Portland, Marine Engineer, Plant Engineer, Maintenance man, and Head of a Maintenance department, I am currently self employed, I do HVAC with a strong bent torwards modern euro propane heating systems.

I live with Diana my love, Body my Brit and a "Datsun" named Bella.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
