Fished on Sat. and had a ball. Fished in the North Conway/Jackson area of New Hampshire. Fished the Saco in the morning and then the Wildcat River in the afternoon, then back to the Saco in the evening. Got up at 4:30am and made it to the river by 6am and had good fishing right off. Caught about 6 fish in the morning (Browns and Brook Trout). Then on the Wildcat I had just a wonderful time with some stocked and wild Brook Trout. I must have encountered 40 or 50 fish on the Wildcat. Elk Hair Caddis was all I used. Back to the Saco for the evening hatch and it was a good one. It came a little late but was good and fish were every where. Had fish rising within an arms length from me. I mangaged about 20 fish in the evening (Rainbows, Browns and Brook Trout). Lost the best fish I hooked with, a fish around 17 to 18 inches and the take was spectacular. Never did get a good look at the fish before he came unhooked. Got home at 10:30pm, now thats a long day.

All in all it was a great day form me and the best fishing day in several years.

Dave

Can you believe I forgot my camera and I have no pictures. I really need to be more careful and remember it next time.

Big Grin I guess you didn't learn from me. I know exactly how you feel. Seams to me it always happens that way. You take your camrea and you either get skunked or you catch little fish, but the minuite you leave your camera you catch a ton of fish and the biggest fish of your life.Darn the luck.

David (GreatBay) we need to get together and fish up in the North Conway area sometime soon.
