Dave, May we assume that the huggers have quit putting feathers in their hair? I don't tie as many dry flies as I used to or I'd be in deep sheeeet my own self. I use a softer hackle as a collar on some of my trolling flies and I've still got enough to weather another year.

Hope so Koda . The flies I tie and use around here call for some stiff hackle and my supplies were on the brink of extinction. My flie box was pretty bare at best. I have enough now for 3 years. I made dang sure I got enough . Never know with the fads .
Holly crap I never thought this day would come. But guess what ? My hackle arrived in the mail today. A bit late but its now on my bench. Happy days . Dave V
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
