hopefully we will be meeting up for some Ice Fishing in the near future and i will hand off my contribution to the swap.

This has by far been my most productive fly i tie, caught all types of fish on this but trout seem to enjoy it the most...

Just a Variation of a very popular fly the wooly bugger , not hard to tie,  i find size 6 seems to be the best in this fly

Tied with  :    # 6 (#9671) Mustad hooks

                        Light Olive marabou (Tail)

                        Peacock Herl           (body)

                        Dark olive feather  ( legs?)

I changed the thread on them so each will get one in diffrent variation .

1 : orange thread

2: olive thread

3: tan

All have worked for me. Hope you enjoy and have some luck with them.

LOL craftsmanship in progress .... sure some of the better tyers can improve on these ........

I just gotta put the head cement on mine and then they are on the way to T-Bone Big Grin

I batched em just like Charlie did, including the Rum & Cokes while assemblingMr. Green

Not sure on other locations, but I guarantee Ziggy and T-Bone will murder the trout with them.

Koda if them boys can catch trout on your flies out East I am sure the fish in the Black Hills of South Dakota will eagerly take your flies. I can't wait to put them to the test,

They'll be shipping in the AM !  The ones on the left are the killer Koda Turkey flies for the swap.  Ones on the right are scuds for the PHW project. T- Bone is the keeper of the flies so the fly box is for him Big Grin

I have recieved three packages of beautifully tied flies from Dave, Bill and R.C.  Nice work fellas I can't wait to swing those babies into a cross current!!!

I have been a little under the weather this week, but I can make the drive over and pick up those flies this weekend Zig.  Sorry about bailing today.  I had the stomach bug most of the week and now I have a scratchy swore throat.  F*%k my life!!!  I hate getting sick.  My wife will tell you all I'm the biggest baby around when I'm under the weather.

I'll be shipping out on the 16th or 17th.

Who am I waiting on besides Ziggy and Koda at this point?

Theron

BTW Dave are those little gray ones CDC caddis?
