I haven't filled the cabin with sheds either. Best one I ever found was in New Ispwitch NH. I was backing the ATV into a small spot to unload a tree stand and I near ran it over. From a 10 pointer, and in perfect shape. Never did find the other one as hard as I looked.
Those beaver ponds look like a good place to whack some woodies too. Nice find Buddy!
Isn't "hop hog" season open? Kill da wabbit, kill the wabbit..................
Yep could have shot both of these ones with my bow LOl they didn't run off they just sat i had to go near them to get them to move for the action shots i did shoot them both about a zillion times LOL ......... Yes the Woody discussion came up and i am gonna get some roughcut and build a few boxes and put them out there didn't see one and there was 3 main swamps and few smaller ones more moose sign then you and i could both shake a stick at LOL!!! Tons of deer as well the lady that owns land put in easement
and open to the public
gotta love that ... i put my camera out there today and will be going back for another bone search soon
hoping to get an 1' or 2 of snow to help in the process..... Hoping to catch some Moose on the loose on cam so we can see what were dealing with at least 3-4 using the area hard
and perfect Bear habitat ... although no sign, i know they are not far from there .....
Oh and by the way sweet find.... -

I trust you will go out next outing more suitably equipped as the next pictures you post had best be them bunny wabbits on a spit over an alder fire You don't do em dirty the coyotes will. "Kill the wabbits Kill the wabbits Kill the wabbits Kill the wabbits....." Man I love that song
Yah, scope out the moose good, I plan on a tag this year and I'll need an alternate
i may take my bow next time that would be fun to shoot one with i have shot so many of them in the past .... this would have felt a little unfair Lol . Prob leave the moose cam out another week before i go check it wouldn't be surprised to see some deer and coy dogs as well, Place is like a little honeyhole that requiresa good walk to get into ... not much human sign at all.
Don't use one of them Rage heads on the hop hogs buddy, you'll cut em right in half
Oh goody oh goody, moose porn
pretty sure i would use some small fixed blade heads or even field points not sure if there are regulations i have some small game heads that work very well for squirrles ? never bow hunted rabbits but after i got so see how these 2 rabbits acted i may give it a shot if anything else will extend my archery hunting a little and be alot of fun trying
.
Well my friend jon and i and my daughter went walking for about 4 hours yesterday in another spot looking for moose sheds . was a nice day to walk and we had great time my buddy ended up finding a 1/2 chewed moose antler of a 1.5 year old ... cool to see . tons of moos sign in there as well
Well my buddy shedhunter and i went out to look around an area we came across the other day looking for some moose sheds , we started at 11:30 and finished up about 4 pm we walked alot of it and saw some cool stuff . I found this shed in an old logging road untouched not a scratch on it some moss so we figure at least a year maybe even 2 years old was actually cool to go looking for them and find one was cool . we also spotted 2 jack rabbits as white as white gets.
Enjoy the pics was great way to spend the afternoon.
huge flock of turkesy with some huge toms came across beautiful Brook that has 3 beaver ponds i plan on fishing this sprin gfro wild brook trout the brook has some sweet pools
Big Moose to reach that high my buddy is almost 6 feet tall
All in all great way to spend day and cool to actually find a shed while shedhunting ... this is my 4th ever in over 20 years of hunting ... i really never have spent too much time looking cause i am usually on the water when its the best time to look either Ice or spring flyfishing
